Overview
The capability gap is widening. The MK1 closes it.
Light vehicles lack protection. Heavy platforms cost mobility, logistics and time.
The SCATA MK1 refuses that trade-off with an 18-tonne 4×4 armoured vehicle built on the proven KNDS CELERIS military platform, combining operational flexibility, mission adaptability and industrial maturity in one modern package.

Frequently asked questions
While the company is new, it’s built on a three-generation industrial base in Jakobstad, Finland. In addition, our key manufacturing partner Parkano Defence has decades of experience in military vehicle production, and the driveline from KNDS Mobility is the most supported military driveline in Europe. We give contractual guarantees for the full lifecycle, not just promises.
Finland is a NATO member with a century of precision defence engineering and manufacturing. In addition, local content and manufacturing transfer can be built into the programme from day one, we grow your sovereign capability, not ours.
The KNDS Celeris platform is in operational use in 400+ vehicles, in the French SCORPION programme. The Cummins ISL9 and Allison 3200SP are in service across NATO fleets globally. The innovation is the vehicle architecture, the mobility foundation is not new.
The MK1 offers something most vehicles in this class do not: native C-UAS as standard, a 30-year open architecture upgrade path, and a documented 30% lifecycle cost saving versus a mixed fleet. The question is not whether you have a vehicle, it is whether that vehicle will still be relevant in year fifteen.
